My family employed Home Care for over 6 years. First for my father then for my mother. They both needed help dressing and later feeding. All the employees sent to help were great and very qualified. I would definitely recommend Home Care to anyone who is in need of help.

Home Care Assistance was very helpful from our first meeting and onward. The initial interview was great as they fully assessed the needs of my sister.

We are very happy with our home care provider. She is a very good match for my mother who is 95 years old. She is willing to do whatever needs to be done and takes the initiative to help with any of the tasks that she sees that need to be done. We did have another caregiver that was not such a good match and Home Care Assistance was happy to find another caregiver who was a better match. My Mom considers her present caregiver a friend and looks forward to her visits.

The staff came out and met with my Dad before sending out a care giver so that they could provide a good match for him. They did an excellent job and our care giver was wonderful. She was always on time and never missed a day. I would use them again and recommend to anyone looking for quality in home care.

My mother passed away recently and we needed to have someone come in several days a week to assist my dad. He is independent, but needed someone to take care of cooking, laundry and some shopping. We contacted Home Care Assistance of Placer and Michelle worked with my Dad to find someone to fill his needs and his schedule. We got a great match and Michelle checks in with my dad to make sure everything is going well. Great service with great, caring people. Very much recommend them.

Dave, Kathy, and crew are absolutely top notch! They go far out of their way — everyone in the office does — to make sure there’s a good fit, to stay in touch and check on how things are going,, to respond promptly and thoroughly to any/all questions, and in virtually every respect show that they genuinely care for my mother (and me, who live a continent away!). They work hard to provide continuity in caregivers, who also go above and beyond to make Mom feel comfortable, cared for, and secure.

We have a group of caring women who, though they do not know each other well, work as a remarkable team. I was recently unexpectedly hospitalized for five days and the team of care givers kept things with my mom running normally and managed to get personal items to me at the hospital. I never had to worry about mom which made my recovery much easier. The staff at Home Care Assistance is truly a caring group of people who truly want what is best for their clients. I have no doubt that you could not find a better home care agency in the entire area.

“I have had experience in the past with home care services. Initially the services were good and contacts with the agency was good but after a while the contacts became less frequent. The caregivers began spending more time watching TV and cell-phone usage than taking care of my wife who has advanced Alzheimers. Three times I had to ask for removal.
Home Care Assistance, on the other hand, keeps in good contact with their clients to be sure the clients are getting the good service they are paying for. As an example, in my case recently my wife was in terrible pain from the effects of constipation She was actually shaking and crying so hard she actually bit my shoulder to try to relieve her pain. The caregiver helped relieve her of her pain, bathed her, dressed her, and gave her relieve from the pain. Luckily for me Home Care Assistance has trained caregivers who know how to handle such situations. My wife was so much better after that thanks to Home Care’s methods of selecting qualified caregivers.”
